I am an expressive landscape painter focusing primarily on skies, clouds, and flora.

Currently living near Columbus, Ohio with my husband and four kids, I primarily work out of my shared studio space at Daylight Artist Collective, while also running an herbal tea company called Chicory Tea Co.

In 2005 I fell in love with painting when I attended my first painting course as part of an Art Education degree at Eastern Kentucky University. Quickly falling in love with paint (specifically oils), I changed course and graduated with my BFA in painting in 2008. After nearly a decade-long hiatus to raise my four small children, I’m back in the studio exploring the depths of life, hope, and hardship through paint on canvas.

As an expressive landscape oil painter, I’m moved by capturing the depth of emotion in a given moment. Painting offers me the freedom to communicate things that words simply cannot and allows me to connect with others in a deeper more meaningful way.

I also truly enjoy working with clients to create special one-of-a-kind pieces that help tell a piece of their story and would be honored to work for you!
